Vignan’s World one school conducted an interactive session with the CEO and faculty members on “What next after 10th board?” The event was aimed at helping students and parents understand the various options available after the 10th.

Our CEO, Mr. N. Srikanth, spoke about choosing the right stream after the 10th and the various options available. He also explained the importance of choosing a career that one is passionate about. Our faculty members shared their experiences and advised students on the various options available after the 10th board.

Vignan School conducted a pencil dust activity for kids. The purpose of the activity was to create awareness among the students about the harmful effects of pencil dust and how to avoid it. The students were divided into groups, and each group was given a sheet of paper. They were asked to draw a picture of a scene from their daily life using only pencils. After the activity, the students were asked to dust their hands and see the difference. This activity was a great success, and our students learned a lot from it.

At Vignan school, we recently conducted a ‘Conversational Talks’ activity for our students. The activity aimed to encourage children to speak English and learn new words. This would help them in their studies and future career. Various topics were discussed in the talks, and the children participated actively in the discussions. They learned about different aspects of life and how to communicate effectively with others. The activity was a huge success, and the children enjoyed it immensely.

Vignan’s World one school, Thimmapuram campus, conducted MayDay celebrations with daily workers from our local community. The event was organized to recognize the contributions of the laborers to society and the economy at large, and this was an appreciation for their hard work every day.

A cake-cutting ceremony was held in the presence of our principal Prasad Chandra Khandal and the staff. The event was a great opportunity for the students to interact with the daily workers and learn about their dedication to society.

Vignan school conducted various activities by giving tribute to the daily laborers working in different industries. By organizing this event, Vignan truly demonstrated its commitment to helping the community and fostering a spirit of inclusion among all members of society.

The Mayday celebration was a great success, and the workers were very happy to receive the recognition. Earth Day has been celebrated since 1970  to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It is intended to remind us that “the healthier our ecosystems are, the healthier the planet – and its people.

Such an educational celebration was also conducted by Vignan Steel City Public School, Duvvada, on 22nd April 2022. The celebrations consisted of several activities designed to raise students’ awareness about environmental conservation and sustainability.

Our tiny tots of the Pre-Primary section came up with beautiful representations of the earth and how they can conserve the environment. Their cute acts and expressions remind us that we must protect the environment, restore the ecosystem, and live a more sustainable life.

Our mouth is a gateway to our body for everything we intake consciously or unconsciously. It is very important to take special oral hygiene care to stay healthy. There are several oral diseases that people of any age can suffer.

Tooth decay, gum disease, cavities, and bad breath affects our health badly, and ignoring these might cause a greater risk to our body. And the greatest risk is for the kids of school-going age.

Hence a “Dental Check Up Camp” was organized by Vignan Steel City Public School, Duvvada, on 21st Apr 2022, on the school premises. Dr. Satish Dolai of Bhanu Dental Care, New Gajuwaka, arrived with his team to raise awareness of good oral hygiene. 

At the camp, every child was examined individually and given a prescription accordingly.  They also offered advice on maintaining good oral hygiene and showed participants the proper way to brush and floss their teeth.

The camp was a great success, and everyone who attended learned a lot about taking care of their teeth and gums. We would like to thank the dentists who generously donated their time and expertise to make this event possible.

Vignan school has been conducting various activities to inculcate reading habits in children. The latest activity was a newspaper reading activity for children to improve their reading skills and understand the importance of reading newspapers. 

Around 20 children from grades 3 to 5 participated in the activity. First, they were given copies of a local newspaper and were asked to read them aloud. Then, the children took turns reading different articles from the paper. 

The activity was a great success, and the children enjoyed it immensely. They learned a lot from it and are now more interested in reading newspapers. This is a great way to encourage children to read more and develop their reading skills. We are looking forward to more such activities in the future.

Vignan school conducted parents interaction session on 17th April 2022. The session aimed to allow parents to interact with their child’s teachers and get to know more about their progress in school.

The session began with a welcome speech by the Principal, Prasad Chandra Khandal followed by a presentation on the school’s academic progress and achievements. This was followed by a question and answer session, where parents had the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification on various aspects of their child’s schooling.

The parents appreciated the initiative taken by the school and said that such sessions should be held more frequently. They also suggested some improvements that could be made to the school’s facilities and curriculum.

The session ended with a vote of thanks by the Principal, after which the parents were given refreshments. Overall, the session was very informative and beneficial for both parents and teachers.

The school conducted a grand admission test on 10th April 2022, which was a huge success. More than 200 students appeared for the test and are now gearing up for the next academic year.

Vignan announced a scholarship based on marks. The students who scored the highest full marks on the test will be given a full scholarship, while the students who scored the second-highest marks will be given a partial scholarship.

We are pleased to share that the admission test went smoothly. All the students who appeared for the test were very well prepared. We would like to thank all the students and parents for their cooperation during the process.

The test results were declared on 14th April 2022, and it was a delightful moment for the candidates who had cleared the exam. The selected students will be called for an interview and be allowed to join Vignan School, one of the best schools in India.

The parents are very proud of their children and are thankful to the school for giving them this opportunity. Vignan congratulated all the students who had cleared the admission test for receiving scholarships and admission to the reputed institution.

We wish all the students the very best in their future endeavors and plan to conduct more such tests in the future to select the best students from across the country.

Vignan school organized a basketball match with the Oakridge school team on 24th March 2022. This was the initiation taken to enhance the relationship with the member schools in our Hub.

The match was very exciting and both teams played very well. Our team won the match by 10 points. This was a great victory for Vignan school and a great learning experience for the students of both schools.

This shows how schools can work together to promote healthy competition and teamwork. We hope to see more such matches in the future!
