Dr.Rathaiah sir established the first residential educational institution in the state in 1980.
He never compromises in providing the best facilities for his students and believes even the slightest negligence in providing the best will create false notions in the young minds and even the best teaching methods under these circumstances won’t help them.
He has always held a strong conviction that an Institution should make every student perform well in his studies and live up to the expectation the parents reposed on the group. He firmly believes that every institution should provide a conducive atmosphere where there is no pollution in any form, huge playground and spacious campuses. Accordingly, all the Vignan institutions have been set up far from the madding crowds in a serene and calm environment.
Today Vignan stands as one of the very few institutions in both the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to have 20 schools, 6 Junior, 7 Engineering, 3 Pharmacy Colleges, Post Graduate, 1 B.Ed. College and a Vignan University under its direct control.
